Yardsale shopping at the prosumer level.

This page is still under construction. More to be added soon.
The first feature bold enough to explore the cutthroat world of prosumer yardsale shopping. The film crew’s mission-- to document the phenomenon that is yardsailing. The piece showcases a Los Angeles based pro yardsailing team formed by professed Zen Buddhist, Buck Wetmore and his charismatic partner, Roscoe Lance Harding who are quick to emphasize that they are professionals and not to be confused with the unethical lawn gypsies more commonly known as early birds. Buck and Roscoe explain how they make their money by acquiring yardsale product and re-selling it at a higher price through miscellaneous markets. They happily walk the crew step by step through the equipment, lingo and research that it takes to get the job done as well as explain the logic behind their complex driver-spotter system, negotiation tactics and much, much more. Interviewees across the country including one of Buck’s idols, Maryland’s Chris Heiska a.k.a. Yardsale Queen and a host of YS aficionados such as L.A. scene regulars Psycho Bob Odom and Garage Sale Susan help shed light on the recent popularity of yardsales. Through a series of adventures and misadventures, the crew watches as Buck’s destructive, impatient, anti-Zen nature nearly destroys his relationship with Roscoe. ThUnderground Films proudly invites you to experience "Zen in the Art of Yardsailing."
